VINCE NEIL Son's MÖTLEY CRÜE Tribute Band To Hit The Road
April 28, 2005Neil Wharton (MySpace.com profile),son of MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil, performed with his CRÜE tribute band ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES on April 22 at Club Paladinos in Reseda, California.
Wharton and crew played through a set of '80s MÖTLEY CRÜE songs, putting heavy emphasis on the "Too Fast for Love"- and "Shout At the Devil"-era material.
ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES' goal is "to bring the show back to what it was like in the club days when the CRÜE were young and dangerous," according to a press release. "The tribute band is done out of respect of the bands connection through Vince Neil and the love of MÖTLEY CRÜE's music."
ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES warmed up the crowd for the evening's main attraction, the all-female tribute band THE IRON MAIDENS.
ROCK & ROLL JUNKIES will be playing several more gigs in California over the next two months and before taking the show on the road for the summer.
